Hi All, Currently I have a top loaded vertical for 160m, works great for the DX but not very good at all for inter-G contacts. I'm now thinking of putting up a horizontal loop at quite a low level so that it operates as a "Cloud Warmer" giving a nice high angle of radiation for inter-G contacts. The question is, should I go with a one wavelength loop for 160m or two wavelengths ? If two wavelengths, why ? I'd also like to use the same loop for inter-G contacts on 80/40m too ... Look forward to your opinions gents. 73 es gud dx de MikeT ... M0AWS. |
