 ok just got through raising the wire off the ground and it doesn't seem to 
have affected the tuning any so we will see tonight. At
least the little buggers wont be able to get to it to gnaw on it anymore.

Also am about to go out and install a resistor at the West end which should 
give me favor to the East (I hope)
