This morning the SM's were about 20 dB louder than usual on 80M Long Path. SM5EDX suggested we try 160 LP. Sure enough, good signals were present. SM5EDX, SM4CAN, SM6CTQ, OH1XX, SM4HCM, RU3DX (the only non Scandinavian station), SM5BFJ were all worked between 15:00 and 15:30. Almost worked SM6CLU, but didn't get the last letter of his call. Next time. All signals were coming from the SW direction and could not be heard in any other direction. Southern Europe was relatively weak on 80LP during this opening. Bob, N7UA |
