Hi All,
Paul, ET3PMW, had a terrific signal on 160 on the 17th from 0200 - 0300+
zulu time, generally 569, peaking 579 or better in Michigan.
5H3RK was 599++ on 80 but in the noise on 160 when he moved down to 1822
that night.
The CX1ST was good copy here too on 19 June 02 around 0200 zulu, and had
a good pile-up including Europe and the Americas. John, VP5/K9DX was always
over 599, but sometimes the static was louder!
As to Paul's tubes, running them at too low a filament voltage is only
stressful because of low input/output. I don't think it will hurt those
sweep tubes much.
