The one HUGE advantage that I especially like with my three 170' "L's" here
is the fact that I do not have to trim / lengthen the radiating portions to
achieve resonance on any selected frequency at the start of the operating
season: I let the 300-pfd. variable capacitors at the base of each do that
job for me.
