Just a thought, instead of preventing interaction why do not make them
interacting by purpose?
Why not planning two verticals spaced a bit more than 1/8WL on 160 and then
phase in a convenient way to obtain end-fire or broadside?
Some 100 ft vertical would be 135deg on 80m (easy match) and 65 deg on 160
(not a great loss compared with a full quarterwave but quite a stronger
structure)
To exaggerate, three verticals in a triangle would be really a greater idea,
with 3 or even 6 possible directions to chose.
