You guys should mix this hobby with fishing people :)
I've purchased this 9 meters Banax (abt 30ft) long:

at local Fishing and Tackle shop for about us$35. The keyword is "squid
pole". Then I added aluminium tube about 2 m long and made a full lambda/4
for 40m band:

So far it performs excellent under very strong Australian sun.
I still can't understand how people can sell fibreglass for such a big
monies !!!
