I've just finished winding two 17-turn RG-400 common mode chokes on #31
cores. My thought is to series-connect these for adequate power
handling at the base of an inverted L on 160M.
My question is, where in this lash-up do I connect the shield of the RG-400 to the ground radial system - at the SO-239 where the feedline comes into the box (before the chokes) , or at the end of the second choke that connects to the inverted L, or ??? -- 73, Pete N4ZR Check out the new Reverse Beacon Network web server at <http://beta.reversebeacon.net>.
