Herman, DJ2BW, once again will head to the Indian Ocean. This time
he will be in the Comoros Islands (AF-007) from 26 October to 7
November. Look for D68BW to be on all bands on CW, SSB and RTTY,
with an emphasis on 12, 17 and 30 meters and the lowbands. QSL via
DJ2BW.
Gus, VO1MP, reports he and VO1MX will operate multi-single as VO2CQ
from CQ WAZ zone 2 during the CQ World Wide SSB DX Contest. The two
will be on the air from 21 to 25 October. The QTH will be the Point
Amour lighthouse which is 109 feet tall and will be used to support
the 80 and 160 meter antennas. Before the contest they plan to be
fairly active on 160 meters CW as VO2ZZ, also some 12 and 17 meter
SSB. QSL via VE3FU.
