Info received from 9M0C Monday February 23rd:
We are at 64700 QSOs right now. We are down to the Titanex, A3S and A3WS
plus 10MHz phased verticals. The A3s come down next, but the remainder will
stay up until very early tomorrow morning our time when we finally pack the
remaining equipment for shipping out the same day.
Last night was another good one for 160m with good openings to west coast
USA and EU. QSO counts: AF:2, AS:376, EU:446, incl. 39 UK stations, NA:122,
OC:29, SA:0.
On both Saturday and Sunday we made 6000 QSOs, a remarkable number at this
stage in the DXpedition. The pile-ups are still, apparently, bottomless! We
increasingly hear people saying that they are "running 50W to a bit of bent
wire" or
something along those lines, so we must be some way down the pile, surely?!
(I think this means that they will be on 160 again today until their sunrise
at 2245 UTC...congrats to all who made it! de W4ZV)
