well, finally an opening to europe.
been a dismal season here in southern arizona. only european heard was ra6ax
but no contact. got a few
qrz n7 but each time some n? on the east coast called.
oh well, thats life on top band.
df2py for the first european this season (who else)?
peaked at 579. then f6fgz at 579 running 100 watts!
ea3jy was calling cq but qsx on 14033. did it for hours
so finally, for giggles, tuned the amp on 20 meters and
called. got a 589 split band, hi.
maybe better days are coming in the CQ contest.
