Just a personal observation, on early Wednesday morning the 24th here in Plant City in Central Florida K1B was 599 on my low dipole up at 80 feet and nonexistent on my 80 foot tee! Joe KK4TR in Brooksville, which is approximately 40 miles NNW of me saw identical results with very similar antennas. We use a 12 volt DPDT relay at the antenna feedpoint to switch our tee's to dipoles. We have seen similar but not as dramatic results working VK6HD. 73, T. F. Giella, KN4LF |
