Hi Gang

Tnx to all who replied on the question of magnetic variation - much 
appreciated.

The easiest source where you plug in the lat/long of your QTH and then have 
the program spit the variation right out for the specified QTH is:

     http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/seg/gmag/fldsnth1.pl

Just follow the page instructions and you can get the magnetic variation for 
any point in the world in seconds.
