Heard, but didn't work, a number of JAs on 160M this morning (Tues 11/19)
using the transmit (shunt loaded tower) antenna for receive. They included
three stations which I don't recall hearing before on 160M.
JA1HQT 1908.2 1156-1201Z (worked last year with 100W)
JA0MVW 1907.8 1159-1200Z
JE7RJS 1908.9 1202-1215Z
JH0INP 1908.7 1209-1214Z (20 minutes after sunrise)
Sunrise in MD was at 11:54Z today. Hope conditions hold up for this weekend.
I'm looking forward to operating again at the Top Band position at W3LPL.
If Frank's new 160M 4-Square works as well as it did in the CQWW Phone contest,
the CW weekend should be lots of fun. See you in the pileups.
