Several fellows have been posting the calls of stations which have been
showing BAD operating techniques in the pileups for 9X4WW and TO0R.
Personally, I think this is good...expose these guys for what they are.
We are all guilty of transmitting once in awhile after the DX has ID'ed a
station (sometimes because of QSB, sometimes due to bad timing) but not to
the extent which has been evident on 160 the past few nights. I know if I
saw my call plastered all over a reflector, I would think twice about
continuing my sloppy ways!
Unless some of these guys clean up their self-centered act, then VK0IR will
be a failure for all but the "super-stations" as we L'il Pistols won't even
be heard.
I can't believe that the stations which call... and call... and call... even
after the DX has gone back to another station cannot hear what is going on.
As VE9AA indicated, many who are doing this are so-called "world class'
operators with "world-class" stations. Believe me, Matilda...they CAN hear!
And they aren't "world-class" ops in my book when they carry on like this!
To change the topic, hats off to the op at TO0R last night...he kept the
masses at bay by continually changing the QSX and sliding down to where we
L'il Pistols were lying in wait! Thanks for that-I think it sure shows good
operating technique.
If they do this at VK0IR, maybe we will have a chance after all (even better
chance if the self-centred clean up their act).

Bill, VE3CSK
