Many have been unable to locate the classic metal versions. I have been
buying Slinkys at Toys- R- Us.
If there is sufficient interest I will buy a bunch and sell them at $2.25
each; minimum qty of 5.
A 9:1 balun xfmr kit using the larger FT114-61 toroid will sell for
$3.50. You get the core, wire and instructions. The plastic case,
connector, etc. can be purchased at Rat Shack. The case is optional
anyway. I built one on some PC board scrap and it was in use for 7 years
before the antenna took a lightning hit. I've built others inside plastic
plumbing caps.
Add $5 to any of the above for S/H.
