My local station is still running 130kW on 1850,
against my expectation.
It was planned to be terminated at March 10th,
after replaced by the LORAN-C international chain operation.
The Lighthouse Depertment of the Maritime Safety Agency
said that one of the chain stations in Pohang, Korea has problem
of antenna collapse now.
So that the life of old system is saved.
The LD said LORAN-A will be prolonged at least to end of April
temporary.
OK, it's a last chance to hear the signal of old navigation system
for those who have never heard them.
It's just stronger than my sig by 24dB.
