No question about it......a single 1/4 wave sloper fed at the BASE.......has a
F/B of about 1/2 dB..and a
F/Side of about 2 dB.......adding the 2nd one behind it...and making it 5%
longer turned the whole affair into
a Cloud Warmer.......as in Horizontal Radiation....straight up took over.....
Frank is right...............Shunt feed the tower........it isn't far from
being an electrical 1/4 wave high....and will
by far be the best you can come up with using a 75 foot tower...........
probably as good or better........than a Titanex vertical...........
