Topband: source of noise

New noise source appearing on 1830 raspy sounding and about 8 khz wide.
This noise seems to repeat every 40 khz above and below this freq.  Anybody
on this reflector have any idea as to the source?  Suspect some kind of
charger in the neighborhood.it's really killing my beverage to the far
