I would ignore that advice. He's got open fields, and you don't, so
use what you have.
My two reversible Beverages run through a redwood forest with rather
irregular terrain (+/- 75 ft elevation changes), and they work
pretty well. I'm using electric fence post stand-off's on trees to
suspend DXE 400 ohm twinlead. The only negative is that I they are
higher than I would like to stay over the heads of deer (8-10 ft),
so they don't work well on 40.
