The Pre-Stew contest is the current headline at the Radio Sport web page

Just a few days left to prepare for this event. Most of you will have all day
on Saturday to throw up a wire and get it loaded up. Conditions have been very
good most of the month - although a solar disturbance has sort of made a mess
of the polar paths for the past 5 days or so. Hopefully, this will quiet down
by the weekend.
This morning - there were lots of signals were on the band calling the VK9.
Also, VK6HD was calling CQ down the band.
