Now I'll try to appear smart by showing you what to do to calculate how to
place your antenna, but I'll make a dumb mistake and embarrass myself. But
I'll do it anyway :-)
Start at the NW end of your existing 325 degree Beverage. Your new antenna
forms a triangle with an embedded angle of 35 degrees. Go SE 720*cos(35)
which is 590 feet, and turn left 90 degrees and travel 720*sin(35) which
is 413 feet. Put a post there, and then arrange for the new Beverage wire to
go to that post. The new post is 720 feet and some inches from the NW end
of the existing Beverage.
If you have the line of sight and want the angle to be perfect, scale
by a factor of 10 or 20, and use the temporary post to sight through.
In other words, using 2 100 foot measures, anchor the ends at the NW end
of the existing Beverage, go out along the existing Beverage 59 feet, put
a temporary post around which you wrap one tape measure, and go another 41
feet. Move around until 100 feet on the first measure matches 72 feet on
the second, and you'll have the position of a sighting post.
