Has anyone on this reflector been able to detune a grounded tower using one or two drop wires instead of the Usual three. I presently use a gamma rod to shunt-feed my 70ft grounded tapered tower making the third drop wire very difficult to do. I am not really looking to re-do my matching network to use the drop wires as a feed system but only to de-tune it to get my square 4 RX antenna working properly and retain the gamma feed system since it works so well.
