Saturday morning 1130Z saw good signals from VK2OI, VK3ZL, and
VK5BRC on or about 1832, resulting in QSOs with 2OI and 3ZL with just 100W
and the Twinlead Marconi Sloper. No JAs heard, but W6PBI in NV was working a
UA0 that I could not hear. The last 2 weeks of T-storms has left, and the
QRN was only S-9. Last week JR2DLO was 579. This is about 3 weeks earlier
than last year's first openings here.
