Tried getting up early - most stations pretty weak, and the QRN vicious! Heard three east coast W's, and wkd one. The W4 who came back to a CQ was just too far down in the QRN. Got 5A28 first call for a new one, though, at 0431. The vertical isn't much good for receiving. 73 Peter G3RZP -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/topband.html Submissions: topband@contesting.com Administrative requests: topband-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-topband@contesting.com |
