Congratulations to Vlad RA4LW who received his WAS 160 award
from ARRL! Take a look at his webpage below and you'll see his QSLs,
the award itself and a map showing the Auroral zone over NA that he
had to work through. WAS is extremely difficult for anyone from that
area and this could be the first time anyone has done it from Zone 16
(perhaps RA6AX or UA6LV have...they are farther south so it's a little
easier for them).

Also congratulations to Bob W7LR who received his WAJA award
from JARL in January! Scroll to the bottom of the webpage below, look
under DXs WAJA and you'll see W7LR (1.9C) endorsed for 160 CW. WAJA
is difficult from anywhere in the USA due to the rarity of some of the
47 JA prefectures.
