Get ON4UN's book "Low Band DXing". There must be 50 pages in there on the
care and feeding of 2, 3 and 4 element phased arrays for 160M.

Save your money. While the Butternut is a great antenna for 80 and 40(I've
owned a couple over the last 15 years), on 160M it has all the radiation
effeciency of a stump.

Great antenna, Spend your time and efforts putting more radials under the
L. You dont say whether the radials are elevated or not. (please lets dont
start this debate again guys ~8^). But in any case I'd add atleast 4 more
radials if your elevated and try to get as many as 50 if your on the
ground. If you have the supports put up a second L approx 250' away and
phase that for starters.
