Wasn't too sure about who I worked this early morning, today (21 May '00,
my LT) but did a 'hattrick' in making two way easy CW QSOs with the VK9WI
at: 1836Z (7Mhz), 1848Z (3.8Mhz) and 1946Z on Topband. All are NEW ones for
me!
Earlier today (0740Z) on 10M PHONE the op answered me that they would still
QRV on 160m and on low bands starting at their sunset. Thank you es 73 de
Jo, YC0LOW.
P.S. Jo, I don't know what's going on but Nick said no 160 antenna this
morning at 10 UTC...G0VDE below is one of the pilots so I suppose maybe
their departure has been delayed. Their sunrise is at 2019 UTC so I guess
they left some sort of 160 antenna up and will take it down before they
leave. See spots reported below and decide for yourself:
YC0LOW-@ 1831.0 VK9WI hurry! cqing without takers 1959 21 May
G0VDE-@ 3500.0 VK9WI Still Qrv a few hours.. 1927 21 May
YC0LOW-@ 3503.0 VK9WI are they still there? 1919 21 May
JA6COW 3503.0 VK9WI qsy from 40m 1847 21 May
K4ZW 3503.0 VK9WI says no more 160 1000 21 May
