An excellent, strong, and corrosion free Beverage wire is cable TV
lashing wire. It is stainless steel and conveniently comes in 500 foot
rolls. It is used by cable TV construction crews to lash the cable to
the strand wire between poles with a special server. Cable techs like to
start with a full reel so they have plenty or partials to give away for
the asking. I put some up in the early 80's and recently had a chance to
check it out when the cable was changed. Even in this tropical island
environment I was very impressed by it's condition after 20 years.
