This is so typical of vertical/radial system performance comparison
data. Of course more data is better, and I am glad this data has been
published (even though I can't see it) I sure would like to see some
data that is more directly applicable to the physical constraints we
often have to work within. Most people will put up the tallest tower
they can manage, or in my case, use the tallest already existing
support. Then the question is how to get the best performance with that
available height. I would like to see comparisons wherin the total tower
height remains constant, and the feedpoint height and radial system
height and number of radials are the variables.
EZNEC 3.0 is the best modeling program I have, and we are often warned
about the doubtful accuracy when close to the ground.
