Topband: Identifying Unknown Ferrites

Folks,

Is there a relatively simple way to measure or otherwise
identify the mix of unmarked toroids?  I have a handful of
unmarked toroids that I believe are Amidon FT-50-43 cores
but I can't say for sure.  I bought them from Amidon years
ago to make Beverage transformers but didn't keep the sales
slip with the devices!  They may not be 43 mix.
