I understand most of the above statements concern _remote_ receivers,
while SDR=Software Defined Radio merely means doing some or most of
the traditionally diodes/transistors/tubes-bound stuff digitally. Some
of it has already quietly sneaked into modern transceivers...
I suggest to pay close attention to what-is-what. Let us not throw out
the child with...
