Been working on NVIS antennas for the OHQP this Sat but had a major
malfunction just when all antennas seemed ready to go. Then last night
we had 2" of rain from a series of thunderstorms with high QRN. (which
appear to now be moving away from central Ohio.)
Thanks for the tip on E51D. I will set the alarm for presunrise
tomorrow morning and listen for George. At least THAT antenna is
working!
Yesterday around 5pm 12m opened nicely to JA. and I heard a VK5 as
well. So the muf is nudging ever closer to 10m where I still need E51.

They were decent copy on 160 here in NH around sunrise today, even
though my
QRN was difficult. As the sun came up the QRN faded much faster than
their
signal and copy became easier. Still very readable ? hour after my
SR.
