I tried to post this to cq-contest but it bounced awaiting approval. It
took several days to get K3EST's approval. Hope its not to late. Remember
the logs go through the kkn.net robot and since Tray is in zone 13 for
several weeks I won't get the logs until he gets back.

Go to the CQ Magazine web page and look under information center for the
full rules.
VY0 has been added as a Canadian multiplier and Labrador and Newfoundland
will be separate provinces in 2003 even though there was an announcement
late last year of
their combination.
Basically the changes for 2003 are:
The Contest is now a 48 hour affair to conform with other CQ Contests.
Single Operators can operate only 30 out of 48 hours. Multi ops can
operate all 48 hours.
Logs must either be paper logs or electronic (e-mail or diskette) and
these must be in cabrillo format. Cabrillo is output by all major
logging programs and there are several converters, too.
The DX window is eliminated. Since this is a gentlemen's band please
allow intercontinental
contacts especially Midwest/West Coast to Europe/Africa.
The rule on listing operators for multi ops can be satisfied by merely
listing them in comments or soapbox. All operators and helpers must be
listed even technical support and loggers!
Good Luck
