Interesting, since this is what PIEXX did when they built their replacement
microprocessor board for the TS-930 -- they set it up so that when the dial
lock button was pushed the main VFO knob functioned as the RIT. Not nearly
so useful as on later rigs, because the RIT range is very limited.
