Hi Steve,
I have used twisted lamp cord and currently have a reel of smaller twisted
pair. I increased the twist and use it as feed line for a small loop around the
edge of the ceiling in my radio room. I use it for receiving as well as
transmitting at low power levels. Twisted pairs have been used that I have read
about since before WW2. The cables you talk about have advantages over the
simple twisted pairs I have used. Thanks for posting this.
