Many of you may know that the Flex 5K has had a bad spur
(about -55 dBc at +/- 2.4 kHz) since its introduction. The good news
is that it's now fixed and is available as a factory only mod for all
5K users. Since this spur is VERY audible for stations running full
power to large antennas, I strongly encourage all of us to let our
fellow Topbanders using 5Ks know about the mod. See background info
in the posts below.
