Ed, VP9GE was QRV for a couple of hours in the recent CQ WW 160 SSB contest.
He reports "224 Qs. So many calling had to work call areas, a few EU coming
thru the W QRM.
Ws had the DX window blocked and EUs were having trouble copying.
I listened around for a bit and the (inverted) L was receiving AOK.
Perfect copy here on stations that Ws, EU and Carib had trouble with.
Best to the west was WA State and to the East was UW2 or UW4... D4B and CN2
were no problem. Not much to the South: PR, VP2A, XE, VP5, C6, KV4 etc..."
The current VP9GE 160M set up in an inverted L and 100 watts.
