Hi Folks.... Using a freshly erected EWE (easterly direction from AL) optimized for 80m. It is 10' high, 35' long, and fed with nice 9:1 transformer, terminated in 900 ohms, and uses 4' copper ground pipes. Last night it was VERY useful on 160m. It does not help on 80m, and on 40m the direction seems to be opposite the feed point. Any thoughts......other than erecting a 600' beverage? Thanks, and 73 John W4II fraz1@bellsouth.net _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK |
