>Can anyone suggest a source of balloons and gas for ballon-supported antennas in the UK? Chris: A source for both balloons and helium gas in the UK is http://www.balloonworks.co.uk/ Here in the states Edmumd Scientific Co. sells weather balloons. A source of helium gas is your local welding supply shop - many will rent helium cylinders for 6 months to a year. Worked K1B May 04 on 1.822 MHz with my 1/4 wave balloon supported vertical (4 ft. balloon) and 100 watts. - Jon N0JK Kansas _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com |
