Could anyone tell me why some insulated copper conductors turn black in this way and whether there's a better way of cleaning it off. DaveA very effective (and cheap/safe) method of cleaning the conductors is to buy a can of coke and dip the conductors in it. They will be bright and shiny in no time. Just don't drink the coke afterwards! -- 73 Ian, G3NRW _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband |
