Friends in Radio Land - The Meanook K-sums were absolutely WRETCHED in the first half of October - one day with a single digit (4) on the 7th and two with low double digits (12) on the 5th and 6th. As for the rest of the month, forget it - there were 15 3-hour periods with K=5, 7 with K=6, 9 with K=7 and one wigth K=8. Who said magnetic activity does not peak around the equinox? Hope for better as we head ever so slowly toward the winter solstive. But don't forget to add 27 days to the days with good K-sums, 5th-7th. 73, Bob, NM7M |
