Ralph,
Just saw the notes on you fence problem. While playing Shuttle
retransmission operator last night after midnight at WA3NAN at the
Goddard Space Flight Center, I was thumbing through a bunch of old
CQ magazines from the 70's. One of them addressed the problem which
you had described. The cure to the electric fence problem was to
place a number of ferrite beads on the wire leaving the controller
as close as possible to the point where it leaves the unit. Have
you tried that yet?
