I was on from home, loaded up rain gutter on house to hand out a few contest
Qs. On around 0300 UTC with TS-850 barefoot. Many California stations were
pretty strong. Logged K7RAT OR.
I copied several DX stations:
ZF9CW (very strong), KP4AA (solid signal) and FM5BH. Successful with ZF9CW and
KP4AA.
Signals from W1 and W2 were relatively weaker.

Not much to get excited about. Turned on the rig at 0200 UTC and went to bed
at 0600 UTC.
Worked G6XX, S59ZZ, OM3GI, KH6AQ, ZF9CW with 100 watts and inverted L. HiZ
4-square for receiving, band was not noisy but signals were not strong.
Several DX spotted that I did not hear: LY7M, OH0Z, G4IRN. I did not notice a
sunrise signal peak for EU.
Ops were very courteous and disciplined when calling DX, very typical of
topband behavior...nice to hear.
