If you have just 1 station, MFJ sells a notch filter.
If you have multiple stations, you need a filter.
There is a wide range of filters where basically you pay
more money for more selectivity. Price is $25 to $200.
You have to try them out for your situation.
HOWEVER, you can only read VSWR through these filters,
not R and X. And the VSWR reading may not be all that
accurate depending on the filter characteristics.
If you already have a filter and just need a rough
check of VSWR, its probably worth a try.
You really need a different solution. I have an MFJ
259B which is useful for many things, but not my 160
meter vertical. (I am 6 miles from a 50 kW station).
