Hi Dave:
Impossible...
If receiving off the far end (where normally the terminating resistor is),
the two parallel wires have in-phase currents. The push-pull transformers
have NO output, but the output is generated between ground and the center
tap of the push-pull transformer (thus by the 9/1 UN-UN transformer).
If receiving off the end where the feedlines are, then the wires are
open-wire lines transporting RF back from the far-end. The RF is now
available at the low Z side of the push-pull transformer.
I hope that is clear now.
But my book and Misek say the same.... Maybe my Engish is not soe good..
