You certainly do here well. I suspect this morning was an anomaly and that
you'll work him very soon. From my discussion with T32EQ on a higher band,
he is using 100 watts to a dipole. I forgot to ask him how high the dipole
is, but I bet it's way lower than a half wave! He was at and below my S4
noise level here until 1249 when I worked him, receiving a 599 and giving him
a 449. He continued to call CQ, but no one was calling him when he peaked a
few minutes later at my sunrise. I called and said he was now 569, which he
acknowledged. My best receiving antenna was a ENE/WSW V-beam, 390' legs and
50 degrees at apex. K0RF worked him a couple minutes later. Hopefully,
others caught him at their sunrise west of here. Now if I can only find
South America to complete this season's 160M WAC!
