Dave,
I've been using your type of setup (longwire/tuner) for several years now
with my RV. If you can add another 14 feet to the long wire with as many 33
foot counterpoise wires as you can, I guaranty your setup will get out like
a "bomb."
I've used a IC706 and AH4 setup with my RV, an IOTA expedition to NA144,
many Field Days and CQP's and it works great. When not using a long wire,
I use a converted/restored military field HF antenna, a 32 foot sectional
vertical with the AH4. It's a match made in RF heaven. With it I've worked
much enjoyable DX and had little problems working pass the pileups.
If 20 feet is all you can do ... go for it ... Enjoy!
