I have been having problems measuring r+jx on my 259B the unit does not appear to resister the jx part of the Z but does indicate the R side. The calculated Z in question is 402 +j208 @ 28mhz however the 259 just shows 405 with J0. Others have said to me the 259 does not always show the Jx part when its known to exist. In my case MW Broadcast is not a factor. Does anyone know the answer. 73 Clive GM3POI |
