Ah.....if we had got disposal of the fast idiot ( PC ) behaviour half a
century ago.......I just wonder what our personal Q factor would have
been ......in understanding the math.

Objet?: [TowerTalk] Kinstar
Gentle-talkians:
Kinstar's use of 4 wires will tend to lower the Q of
the system, widening bandwidth. This is often an issue
with directional arrays. There is nothing new in this
technique...it simply draws upon Q lowering techniques in
the LF folded unipole design which the Navy pioneered 50+ years ago.
If there is a patent pending for the design, it will clearly
be open to challenge, particularly given the public-domain
material which has been published for several decades.
As my worthy colleague VE3EA, and others observed... physics
don't change. Human understanding of the laws may. There is
nothing new in this.
A shortened vertical... .67 the normal height, with equal efficiency?
Although different top loading was used, there were numerous examples of
this in the jersey meadowlands. WOR on 710 and WMCA on 560KHz, in
particular.
